Senior Accountant - Government Contracting (Remote)

Role: Senior Accountant - Government Contracting (Remote) Pay: $105,000 - $110,000 / year + bonus Location: Remote Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Our client is a national firm that provides back office accounting, finance, and HR services to government contractor businesses and this Senior Accountant role will support a large external client with project accounting through GL close, financial statement production, financial review and analysis. This role will support a client with multiple entities and 100+ active projects. The Senior Accountant will serve as the accounting owner for assigned entities and work closely with nationwide Project Managers, a Financial Analyst, and an offshore accounting team. This is a remote role which can be based anywhere in the US, working either CST or EST business hours. This role must also be prepared to travel once per month to various client locations as needed. Requirements 5-10 years' experience doing full cycle GL accounting, project accounting, close and analysis through financial statement production is required. Must have prior government contracting entity accounting experience, ideally in construction, IT or manufacturing. Government contracting entity experience is required. Must have experience working for companies with with numerous multi-entities and company complexity.Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
