Job Duties
- Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Support fixed asset accounting, project accounting, and capitalization activities
- Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and compliance requirements
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, project teams, and finance leadership to improve processes
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and strengthen internal controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Strong Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate in a growing organization
Preferred Experience
- Background in utilities, renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, or project-based accounting
- Experience with fixed assets, cost accounting, or capital projects
- CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required
Salary
$90,000 - $1,100,000 per year
