About the role
Our client is a global technology organization that values innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth. They are looking for a Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to work in a fast-paced environment alongside professionals across multiple business functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Perform lease accounting activities in accordance with ASC 842.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and other month-end close activities.
- Identify ways to improve accounting procedures, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and analysis.
- Contribute to accounting projects, system improvements, and other cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a public company.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting and ASC 842 lease accounting.
- Experience with an enterprise-level ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking abilities, and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Pay
$110k – $120k base salary, plus bonus and equity potential.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office.
