Senior Accountant Expert [$60 - $120/hour] Role Responsibilities Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness, providing insights based on established accounting standardsAssess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps, best practices, and regulatory considerations for diverse business scenariosCreate and assess financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insightsAnalyze and provide feedback on tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issuesReview a variety of legal and financial documents, offering detailed feedback on clarity, correctness, and alignment with regulationsDeliver clear and constructive written and verbal feedback on project materials, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teamsSupport the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training, leveraging your prior experience with human data processes such as data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation Good Candidature Bachelor s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldIn-depth expertise in economics, accounting, law, government regulations, and taxationSubstantial experience preparing and auditing financial statementsStrong understanding of cost accounting and budgetary controlsProficient in both written and verbal communication for technical subject matterDetail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and regulatory complianceHolding or having held one or more of the following job titles: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor, General Accountant, Internal Auditor, Revenue Tax Specialist Preferred Qualifications Advanced certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA) or equivalent practical experienceExperience advising on or implementing financial systems and controlsDemonstrated ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to diverse audiences
