Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant – Corporate Tax & Reporting to serve as a key link between tax compliance and multi-entity financial reporting. This role is on-site in Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate tax compliance activities by preparing supporting schedules, financial data, and documentation for external tax advisors across a complex business environment.
- Manage recurring tax reporting and compliance activities across federal, state, and local requirements, including indirect and other business taxes.
- Own month-end close and general accounting for assigned entities, including journal entries, general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and analyze GAAP-based financial statements, investigate variances, support audits, and maintain accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors, accounting teams, and business leadership while supporting tax research, process improvements, and special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3+ years of progressive accounting and tax experience.
- Meaningful experience with both income tax and GAAP-based accounting, including the ability to independently manage close, general ledger activities, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of business taxation, including partnership and pass-through tax matters, with corporate income tax exposure and an understanding of the financial information and schedules needed to support tax compliance.
- CPA highly preferred, with public accounting experience and/or a combination of public accounting and private industry experience strongly valued.
- Experience with larger ERP/accounting systems required; exposure to multi-entity organizations, state and local taxation, indirect taxes, or coordination with external tax advisors is beneficial.

$90K–$110K/year (DOE)
