Senior Accountant - Audit

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more client engagements simultaneously, ensuring overall success of each assignment.
• Prepares time budgets.
• Consults with the supervisor, manager, and/or partner on a course of action when unusual circumstances arise.
• Drafts client reports with supervision.
• Develops deeper knowledge and skills in technical field.
• Buils strong working relationships with client management and peer client levels.
• Performs engagement field work procedures.
• Advises and coaches staff accountants on work to be performed and sets an example by demonstrating high energy levels and enthusiasm.
• Works as an effective team member to complete project components and engagement tasks.
• Performs a detailed review of the staff accountant’s work to ensure quality thoroughness, documentation, and completion of engagement tasks within agreed timeframes.
• Builds strong team relationship skills.
• Actively pursues self-development.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree.
• Pursuing a CPA.
• 2-3 years of public accounting experience.
• Technical knowledge and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A working knowledge of firm products and services.
• A general understanding of market trends.
