About the Role
We are seeking someone with excellent management skills, a team-player mindset, and strong multi-tasking abilities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, experienced, and enjoys providing excellent service while taking ownership of their work. This position is fully in-person in Livonia, MI. Occasional work-from-home days may be considered once the candidate is up to speed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate system of accounting record-keeping in QuickBooks for Santeiu Vaults and related entities
- Establish comprehensive controls and document processes for accounting and credit cards
- Manage cash flow through daily deposits, ACH payments, and reconciliation of the company’s bank and credit card accounts
- Collect, review, and interpret financial data to produce accurate and timely financial reports
- Process payroll, including tax and liability payments, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax filings and employment verifications
- Maintain positive working relationships with all outside professional services, including vendors, CPA firm, and financial institutions
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Handle all insurance-related audits
- Perform HR administration for all new and current employees
- Reconcile the company’s cash and deposit accounts
