About the role

We're looking for a versatile, resourceful, and highly driven Sr. Accountant who's ready to roll up their sleeves and make an impact on our accounting, finance, and operations departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily and monthly financial transactions, including AP, AR, payroll support, and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support reconciliations.
- Help prepare financial reports, dashboards, and support budgeting processes.
- Collaborate with external accountants and auditors for tax, reporting, and compliance needs.
- Assist with our international entities.
- Act as a utility player across internal operations - HR, legal, procurement, facilities, IT- you name it.
- Design and improve workflows to make the business more efficient and scalable.
- Manage special projects and help implement new tools and systems across teams.
- Maintain internal documentation and SOPs; continuously seek optimization opportunities.
- Support onboarding and off-boarding processes for employees and vendors.
Cross-Functional Firefighting
- Step into undefined situations and take ownership of solving them.
- Be a liaison between departments to unblock issues and keep things moving.
- Drive initiatives that improve team alignment, reduce friction, and save time.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an operations, finance, accounting, or similar generalist role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting workflows (Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar).
- Comfortable with spreadsheets and data analysis.
- Experience with project management tools a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Total Cash Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience, qualifications, and location premium)
Equity: Standard equity package for the position, offering meaningful upside as we scale
Remote role, with a premium for Bay Area candidates
