Wilding Brands is expanding its team and is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to fill the position of Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant has overall responsibility for daily accounting of transactions and is responsible for performing the month end close in an accurate and timely manner. With many vibrant taprooms and restaurants scattered across Colorado, we’re not just part of the craft beverage industry - we are shaping i Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations including cash receipts and disbursements, accounts receivable, accounts payable and accruals, inventory, fixed assets and revenue recognition for multiple entitiesManage purchasing policies and proceduresPrepare consolidated financial statements on a monthly basisEnforce standard accounting policies and procedures of the organization Perform an efficient month-end close processAssist in the development of annual budgets and forecastsCalculate variances from the budget and identify and analyze significant differencesPrepare sales and use tax returns for applicable jurisdictionsTrack and report key financial metricsAssist CPA firm with annual review of financial statementsComply with local, state and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Requirements Strong operational accounting skills, financial skills and GAAP knowledgeDemonstrated ability to assess, develop, enhance and implement accounting/finance policies, procedures and controlsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to commute to our Headquarters location in LafayetteEffective communicator, with strong oral and written skillsStrong work ethic and proactive attitudeExcellent attention to detailEntrepreneurial personalityExperience with Quickbooks is highly desiredExperience with inventory management software is highly desired Education/Certification Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA preferred Benefits/Compensation Estimated salary range: $95,000 - $110,000 DOEHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO)Employee discounts across all Wilding Brands location
