Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Senior Accountant who brings strong hands-on accounting experience and the drive to take ownership of a multi-entity financial operation. The ideal candidate is analytical, adaptable, and comfortable balancing day-to-day execution with forward-looking financial insight while partnering closely with leadership and supporting a collaborative accounting team. This role is on-site in Wilsonville, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close activities and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash activity, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage inventory and cost accounting processes, including physical inventory, purchasing, shipping, warehousing, and related controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow planning, and financial reporting for executive leadership.
• Coordinate audit preparation, tax reporting, internal controls, and other compliance requirements while supervising accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA is a plus.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager-level responsibilities.
• Background in manufacturing, consumer products, inventory management, and cost accounting.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and organizations subject to external financial audits.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or a comparable ERP system is preferred, along with staff leadership experience.

Pay

Salary: $85K‑$100K/year (DOE)
