Senior Accountant

Responsibilities
- Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze Work-In-Progress (WIP) schedules using percentage-of-completion accounting
- Maintain and reconcile job cost accounting across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Partner with Project Managers on cost forecasts, margin tracking, and change orders
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and financial statements
- Support audits, tax filings, bonding requests, and lender reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and construction accounting standards
Requirements
- 1-3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- ERP experience preferred; CPA or CPA-track a plus
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. A CPA certification is preferred but not required.
