Day to Day responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations, including bank accounts, PayPal, credit cards, petty cash, inventory, accrued, prepaid, fixed assets, and landed cost accounts
- Manage expense tracking and controls, including Navan expenses, American Express follow-ups, and supporting documentation
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including payroll accruals, inventory offsets, and reporting packages for headquarters
- Cook up tax and audit activities, including sales tax filings, state audits, and providing documentation to internal and external auditors
- Manage intercompany transactions and payments, including reconciliations, bank payment initiation, and approval support
Preferable Background
- A degree in Accounting or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.
- Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish, as effective communication in both languages is required for this role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for accurate and efficient financial management.
- Familiarity with Excel as an essential tool in maintaining financial records and generating reports.
