Senior AccountantLos Angeles, CA (Onsite) About the OpportunityWe are partnering with a respected investment management firm seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This individual will work closely with the Controller and play a key role in supporting the firm's accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance activities, and continuous process improvement efforts. The position offers broad exposure across the accounting function and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys taking ownership of critical accounting processes while working in a collaborative environment. Senior Accountant Responsibilities* Prepare annual financial reports and quarterly internal financial statements. * Prepare monthly journal entries, year-end accruals, and closing entries. * Complete client billings and monitor accounts receivable activity. * Review accounts payable entries and prepare payments. * Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all accounts. * Review monthly bank reconciliations. * Prepare internal ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed. * Document and update accounting policies and procedures. * Prepare tax and compliance filings. * Support annual audit requests and tax-related inquiries. * Assist with accounting research and special projects as needed. Senior Accountant Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 6+ years of accounting experience. * Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting procedures. * CPA or progress toward CPA designation preferred. * Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Strong project management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. * Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus.
