Responsibilities
- Manage client budgets, billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Prepare journal entries, work papers, financial statements, and custom reports
- Understand and prepare amortization and depreciation schedules and reports in accordance with applicable rules and regulations
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate staff accountants and interns
- Reconcile bank and credit card account balances
- Complete payroll and sales tax returns
- Conduct financial analysis
- Interact and meet with clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of professional work experience in accounting
- Minimum of three years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
- Minimum of three years of experience using QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, and/or CAM/RECs, or related
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude
- Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to self-manage workload responsibilities
