SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities

• Review deals for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation and prepare paperwork for the Title and Accounting clerks
• Process payoffs accurately and timely to receive title, follow up on any delayed titles
• Record wholesale and dealer trade sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Warranty, Gap, ancillary products remittance and cancellations weekly
• Aid with Accounts Payable and Billing
• Communicate with F&I, Sales, Accounting managers to resolve any discrepancies
• Cross train with other staff while working together to expand experience
• Support other team members and departments as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an administrative position
• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Automotive and CDK or DealerTrack experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organization
• Confidential and professional demeanor
• Able to multi-task and manage time effectively
