Senior Accountant

Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City and The Bar Method, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Accountant who will support the monthly close process, revenue recognition, and financial reporting for our dynamic multi-brand fitness organization. They have a strong GAAP knowledge, experience with complex reconciliations, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions) Responsible for payroll and benefits entries and accrualsManages CIP and fixed asset across all brandsPrepares journal entries, including intercompany transactions and departmental allocationsAnalyzes and reconcile complex balance sheet and income statement accountsMaintains the general ledger and ensure timely, accurate trial balancesPrepares and explain actual vs. budget variance analysisPerforms account reconciliations and support month-end reportingAssists with financial and tax auditsContributes to process improvements, policies, and internal control initiativesSupports the Accounting Manager with ad hoc tasks and projects Strengths/Background Required Qualifications 3 or more years of private or public accounting experienceBachelor’s degree in AccountingAdvanced knowledge of ExcelExperience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliationsFamiliarity with financial statements (I/S, B/S, Cash Flow) and related footnotesSolid understanding of general ledger functions and close processesStrong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Preferred Qualifications CPA licenseExperience with NetSuiteExperience with Workday or payroll-related accountingUnderstanding of multi-brand accounting and allocations Competencies Highly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlinesProven ability to work both independently and cross-functionallyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsConsistency and ReliabilityInitiativePractical ThinkingTeam PlayerGood CommunicationOrganized Workplace Salary Range: $80k-100k What’s in it for you?
