Senior Accountant

About the role

Mason Manufacturing & Fabrication is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Decatur, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
• Oversee month-end closing process
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
