Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheets, and ensuring accuracy.
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Utility Billing
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare government-required reports
• Advise clients on internal accounting matters
• Audit preparation
• Complete appropriate compliance reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA or actively pursuing a license
• 3-10 years of general accounting experience required
• Government/Municipal accounting experience required
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
• Highly motivated, self-starter

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA or actively pursuing a license
• 3-10 years of general accounting experience required
• Government/Municipal accounting experience required

Pay

The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000, with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications.

Schedule

The role will be based 100% on site at the client location.
