Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting schedules as part of the monthly, quarterly and annual month-end close processes
- Maintain NetSuite general ledger and perform account reconciliations
- Process timely billing and review AR to ensure collections
- Ensure commissions are calculated accurately and paid timely each month
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards, including ASC 606
- Support integration of acquisitions into standard KeyMark accounting processes
- Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency
Qualifications and Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting highly preferred
- 3+ years in a similar role where you have developed a solid understanding of month-end close processes and standard account reconciliations
- Experience with audits and compliance
- Advanced Excel and accounting system proficiency
- Familiarity with multi-entity accounting structures, including international subsidiaries
Other
- Software/SaaS industry experience supporting revenue recognition
- NetSuite experience
- Experience integrating acquisitions
- Experience in accounting rules specific to a software reseller as well as a software OEM
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing
