Responsibilities
- Financial Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, and yearly).
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory documents.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including project management, procurement, and human resources, to support overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Vista accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Knowledge of construction-specific accounting practices and job costing.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Qualifications

Pay
The full salary range for this position is $100,000 – $130,000, depending on direct professional experience and qualifications.
