About The Role You will maintain the general ledger and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile and analyze accounts, maintain revenue-recognition schedules, and resolve variances. You will support accounts payable, tax filings, financial audits, financial statements, annual tax-return data collection, 401(k) audits, investor requests, and special projects. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.3+ years of progressive accounting experience.Strong knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP.Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.Ability to identify accounting issues and solve challenges proactively. Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, and prepaid-expense amortization.Reconcile cash, prepaid accounts, fixed assets, liabilities, equity, and other accounts.Analyze account balances, maintain reconciliation support, research variances, and propose resolutions.Maintain revenue-recognition schedules.Review purchase invoices for proper general-ledger coding and posting dates.Prepare use-tax and property-tax returns.Support the annual financial audit by responding to auditor requests and preparing schedules and records.Assist with annual financial statements and related disclosures.Collect and provide data for annual tax returns.Assist with the annual 401(k) audit.Respond to investor information requests.Support special projects and other assigned duties.
