About The Role
You will own and review month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries reconciliations and variance analysis. You will reconcile cryptocurrency and blockchain transactions support financial statements and audits and help maintain accounting policies.
You will coordinate with FP&A and reporting teams and improve automation internal controls and close workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
- 3+ years of public and private accounting experience
- Experience in financial services, fintech or digital assets
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting principles
- Experience with digital asset accounting practices is preferred
- Experience with accounting software and blockchain-based financial tools
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to evolving industry regulations
- Basic understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and digital asset management
Responsibilities
- Own and review month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Develop and implement cryptocurrency accounting policies and procedures
- Prepare and review financial statements with the SEC Reporting team
- Prepare audit documentation and respond to auditor inquiries
- Monitor financial data for trends and variances
- Track cryptocurrency regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards
- Implement and optimize accounting software and blockchain financial tools
- Cook up budget, forecasts, and financial plans with FP&A
- Automate balance sheet reconciliations
- Improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and close processes
