Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Heavy focus on expense management with emphasis on reviewing expense details to determine and record accruals. The scope will cover multiple retail stores and head office departments.
• Lease accounting for multiple locations.
• Some involvement with coding/recording credit card expenses.
• Some involvement with preparing bank reconciliations and recording related journal entries.
• Prepare month end reports, actuals vs budget/forecast, and provide explanations.
• Prepare account reconciliations.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in NetSuite a Must.
• Positive “can do” attitude and highly analytical; enjoys challenges.
• Detail oriented and comfortable working with large data sets.
• Action-oriented and solution-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast pace environment.
