Senior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTIONCandidate must have Accunting degree.Position is responsible for performing complex accounting and financial analysis assignments for theSystem. Contributes to the accuracy of financial statements and develops impactful analytics.Recommends changes in accounting systems and procedures. Approves reconciliations, providesguidance and training to accounting staff, and supports hospital financial management and administration.Experience / Knowledge / Skills:- Five (5) to seven (7) years of accounting work experience- Advanced financial accounting knowledge and experience requiredSkills must include analytical capabilities sufficient for providing and interpreting varianceanalysis- Experience retrieving data from ERP system and Business Intelligence software- Advanced level Excel skills to include pivot tables, vlookup and macros, etc.- Effective oral and written communication skillsSubmitting a candidate to this position is acknowledgement that the candidate 1) will follow all MHHS policies and procedures, 2) will adhere to the terms of the MSA and 3) has all the requirements and specialty experience that the position requires.
