Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Aid with month-end close procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies, ensuring strong internal controls and audit readiness.
• Support the annual audit process, preparing audit schedules and account reconciliations.
• Research and resolve technical accounting issues, driving to resolutions.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Biz Ops (Analytics), Product, IT, and Legal teams.
• Drive automation and process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance scalability.
• Leverage technology, data analytics, and AI to enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and financial insights.
• Assist with the implementation and optimization of financial systems, accounting tools, and reporting processes.
• Support special projects and ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent, CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or public company settings.
• Experience with NetSuite is beneficial.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP-compliant accounting policies, procedures, and financial statements.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to dynamic workloads.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
• Proficiency in using AI and a willingness to implement AI solutions to improve processes.

Pay

The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work is performed in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment with a hybrid schedule, combining remote work with occasional in-office collaboration.
