Senior Accountant

About the role

Law firm is seeking a contract Senior Accountant to join their Los Angeles office. This is a long term contract position beginning immediately and ending in June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger activities and monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records
• Manage accounts payable and review, approve, and record monthly employee expense reports
• Review tax returns and related materials to ensure regulatory requirements are met
• Support the Accounting Department with additional accounting and financial projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 3-6+ years of accounting experience required
• Strong general accounting experience with experience in general ledger, A/P, journal entries, and financial close processes is required
• CPA preferred
• Experience with iManage and ProLaw is a plus

Pay

Pay Rate: $50-75/hour
