Responsibilities

• Perform and/or oversee month-end close procedures.
• Produce complete monthly financial statements accurately and on time.
• Maintain compliance under GAAP.
• Perform reconciliations of financial accounts.
• Maintain fixed assets depreciation.
• Plan and oversee inventory counts and analyze results.
• Assist in budgeting processes.
• Prepare special reports for Executives and the Board of Directors.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Analyze company expenditures and cash flow.
• Supervise junior accountants and other finance staff, providing guidance and support.
• Lead or participate in ad hoc financial projects such as system implementation or process improvements.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, such as expansion into new markets or product lines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required).
• CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam (highly preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Some experience in a public accounting setting (highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience across a broad range of accounting functions such as cash management, receivables, payables, purchasing, and expense reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
