Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly journal entries and allocations.
- Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing responsibilities.
- Maintain accounts reconciliations.
- Assess internal controls, including risk assessments, auditing, and verifying documents.
- Prepare budget and perform variance analysis.
- Interface with external parties such as audit firms, banks, lessors, and credit card companies.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in accounting software and principles of trauma-informed care.
- Experience with general ledger and fixed asset management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
