What You’ll Do
- Prepare monthly financial reports, key templates, and weekly sales reporting analysis.
- Manage GL entries, ICO accruals, and timely reconciliations for all balance sheet and key income statement accounts.
- Partner with operations to resolve inventory issues and lead year-end inventory counts and adjustments.
- Oversee Fixed Assets and Intangible Assets, ensuring accurate recording, depreciation, and CIP tracking.
- Aid the Controller with forecasts and budgets while reviewing GLs for appropriateness and managing third-party rebate calculations.
- Review weekly payables/ACH activity and flag important tax communications for the leadership team.
What You Bring to the Table
- Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience (Senior Accountant or similar role preferred).
- Education: BA in Accounting or a related field.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (specifically pivot tables) and accounting software.
- Manufacturing Experience: cost accounting & understanding of manufacturing accounting & inventory required.
- QuickBooks experience is a plus!
- Communication: Strong financial acumen with the ability to explain the "why" behind the numbers to various stakeholders.
- Mindset: Ability to work independently, high attention to detail, and a collaborative team spirit.
