About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Clicklease's financial reporting and structured finance operations. You'll own key accounting processes, support month-end close, prepare lender reporting, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insights that drive informed business decisions. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and working cross-functionally in a fast-paced fintech environment.
You'll join Clicklease's Finance & Accounting team, partnering closely with the Structured Finance Reporting Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting, support audits, and continuously improve accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial analysis.
- Prepare lender, banking, financial, and regulatory reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
- Investigate and resolve general ledger and sub-ledger discrepancies while maintaining strong accounting controls.
- Prepare account reconciliations, financial analyses, and rollforward reporting that support business decisions.
- Support lender reporting, financial audits, bank examinations, and tax audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, automation, and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Experience independently managing month-end close activities.
- Experience performing account reconciliations and resolving general ledger and sub-ledger discrepancies.
- Strong understanding of the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, financial analysis, shortcuts, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
- Experience using accounting or ERP systems to prepare financial reports and maintain accounting records.
- Experience preparing financial analyses and reports for internal stakeholders, auditors, or financial institutions.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting or an MBA (completed or in progress).
- 3+ years of public accounting experience.
- Experience in equipment leasing, structured finance, or financial services.
- Familiarity with Net Investment Value (NIV) calculations.
- Understanding of present value and time-value-of-money concepts.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Salesforce, Divvy, or Expensify.
What Success Looks Like in Your First 6 Months
- Independently manage assigned month-end close responsibilities.
- Deliver accurate reconciliations and financial reporting with minimal supervision.
- Successfully support lender reporting and external audits.
- Build strong relationships with Finance and cross-functional business partners.
- Develop expertise in Clicklease's accounting systems, reporting processes, and internal controls.
- Recommend and implement at least one meaningful accounting process improvement.

Pay
$80,000–$90,000 USD DOE + 10% Annual Bonus
Schedule
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Draper, UT (Hybrid – 4 days per week in the office)
