Senior Accountant

Role Summary

The Senior Accountant will oversee general ledger activity, manage the close process, and assist with financial reporting. This role works closely with various departments to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversight of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles
• Preparation and recording of journal entries, including accruals and other adjustments
• Completion of detailed account reconciliations and investigation of variances
• Maintenance of accuracy of general ledger accounts
• Compilation of internal financial reports and supporting documentation
• Contribution to budgeting and forecasting efforts
• Aid in audit preparation and acting as a liaison for external auditors
• Ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Analysis of financial results and provision of meaningful insights to leadership
• Identification of opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–6+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of GAAP principles
• Strong Excel skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
• Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
