This position will play a key role in the monthly close, financial reporting, account analysis, and continued improvement of accounting processes. Senior Accountant Highlights Growing organization with continued opportunity for advancementHigh visibility and exposure to company leadershipBroad responsibilities beyond routine transactional accountingCollaborative team and supportive leadershipOpportunity to improve processes and make a meaningful impactCompetitive compensation and benefits Senior Accountant Responsibilities Take ownership of key areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closePrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsAnalyze balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracyAssist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reportingThe Senior Accountant will research and explain budget-to-actual and period-over-period variancesMaintain supporting schedules for fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other accountsSupport annual audits and provide documentation requested by external auditorsHelp strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting policiesPartner with operational leaders to resolve accounting questions and improve financial visibilityIdentify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting, and increase efficiency Senior Accountant Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field5 + years of progressive accounting experienceExperience with ASC 606 & 842 preferred, not requiredStrong understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycleExperience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience working with an ERP or other accounting systemAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and a collaborative approach #INSEP2026
