Senior Accountant

Location: Manchester, NH (On-Site, 5 Days/Week) Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 Position Overview Our client, a growing company in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. This role will be responsible for supporting month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, solid accounting experience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and supporting schedulesLead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliationsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisSupport audits by preparing schedules and documentation for external auditorsMonitor and improve accounting processes and internal controlsAnalyze financial data and provide recommendations to managementAssist with fixed asset accounting and inventory-related accounting functionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on financial and operational initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5-7 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principlesAdvanced Excel skills required (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis tools)Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsManufacturing experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to work fully on-site in Manchester, NH #INOCT2026
