Senior Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $115,000 to $130,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules to support accurate financial reporting. Manage month end, quarter end, and year end close activities while ensuring timely and reliable financial results. Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and provide insights to support business and operational decision making. Collaborate with finance, operations, and other departments to maintain accurate accounting records and reporting processes. Support audits, internal controls, process improvements, and documentation initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance. Requirements A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, account reconciliations, and general ledger accounting. Previous experience preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and supporting close processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and ERP platforms. Qualifications Prior experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, clinical research, healthcare, or other regulated industries. Familiarity with clinical trial accounting, audit support, and revenue recognition concepts. Public accounting or external audit experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with the capability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments. REF #52994
