Summary of Position: The Senior Accountant is responsible for intermediate level account work, including general ledger analysis. This person will work closely with the Assistant Controller, Grant Manager, and Regional Finance Officer.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, approve, and verify entries into the general ledger
• Perform general ledger analysis as assigned by Assistant Controller or Finance Officer
• Assist in month end duties for closing of the financials
• Perform other closing task as needed
• Perform AR reconciliations for multiple accounts
• Assist in banking reporting
• Audit documentation preparation and work with auditors
• Prepare allocations and run in Workday
• Prepare expenses for external funding
• Assist with budget procedures and process

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
• Experience: Two years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Prior budgeting experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze fiscal data.

Pay

Pay Range: $67,610.00--$101,430.00
