Senior Accountant

About the Role

Bridgepoint Consulting is adding talent to our Austin-based team of Professional Accounting Consultants. We are seeking experienced Senior Accountants to support our clients for a wide range of interim and project-based accounting needs. Our clients include small to mid-sized companies in the Austin and greater Central-Texas area. Consultants work onsite at the client’s location and integrate as part of their teams for the duration of each project. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including monthly close procedures and financial reporting (monthly and quarterly).
• Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Execute routine accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and cash management.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Great Plains, Intacct) and Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
• Deliver excellent client service in a consulting environment.
• Communicate effectively with all organizational levels, both written and verbally.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience (Big Four and public accounting experience a plus).
• Experience with revenue recognition (highly preferred).
• Industry experience within private equity, technology, software/SaaS, or emerging growth companies.
• B.A. or B.S. in Accounting or Finance (required); CPA or MBA (a plus).
• Prior employment by a Big Four or nationally recognized accounting firm (preferred).
