About The Role The Senior Accountant is a key member of the firm’s financial team, responsible for overseeing accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely, GAAP‑compliant financial reporting. This role partners closely with the CFO and leadership team to strengthen internal controls, improve processes, and support informed business decisions as the firm continues to grow. What’s In It For You Flexible work scheduleMedical, Dental, and Vision benefits package401(k) with company matchA supportive culture to allow you to live a fulfilling, happy, and impactful life Key Responsibilities Working with Multiple Clients Own the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparationMaintain the general ledger, balance sheet schedules, and supporting documentationOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash managementReconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basisPrepare and review monthly financial statements and variance analyses for leadershipMaintain depreciation and amortization schedules and track asset balancesPartner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planningHelp design, document, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting proceduresSupport annual audit and tax processes, working with external auditors and advisorsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency across the accounting function Leadership & Collaboration Provide day‑to‑day guidance to accounting staff and bookkeepersEnsure appropriate delegation of transactional work while maintaining quality and accuracyCollaborate with firm leadership to support operational and strategic initiativesServe as a reliable financial resource for internal stakeholders Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month‑end close and financial reportingStrong knowledge of GAAP and internal controlsExperience working in a professional services, advisory, or multi‑client environment preferredDetail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindset At Baysora, we partner with boutique tax and accounting firms to protect what makes them unique while fueling their next chapter.
