Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Own the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, including vendor payments and customer invoicing
• Oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring alignment with ASC 606
• Help prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and automate manual processes
• Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to financial policies
• Cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Operations to validate revenue and expenses
• Communicate clearly and proactively in a remote-first environment

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience; strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition standards; advanced proficiency with accounting software; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication
• PREFERRED: CPA or CPA-track; experience in a startup or high-growth company; experience in a SaaS, ad-tech, or tech-driven environment; familiarity with automated AP/AR tools, CRM integrations, or BI dashboards
