Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential cost savings.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
• Implement new accounting policies and maintain existing policies.
• Instruct and support accounting staff and departments in daily, monthly, and yearly accounting processes.

Required Skills

• Expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
• Proficiency with major accounting software and systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial management tools.
• Strong analytical skills to handle complex financial records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• CGMA – Chartered Global Management Accountant (preferred).
• CISA – Certified Information System Auditor (preferred).
