Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for accounting operations, including activities such as: general ledger, financial reporting, banking, receivables, payables, inventory, fixed assets, intangibles, lease accounting, and multiple system integrations.
- Prepare, review, analyze and help distribute monthly financial statements.
- Prepare, review, and balance the lease accounting each month.
- Assists with technical research and prepare policies and procedures on issues related to various accounting topics.
- Prepare Federal Tax expenses, State & Local tax filings, and maintain supporting documentation.
- Prepare and process monthly journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Aid in the annual budget process preparation, providing variance analysis, and supplying financial and management reporting through effective use of systems.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor to the Accounting team.
- Assist with special projects or other duties as assigned.
- Contribute to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals.

NoneMinimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) in business, accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years’ experience in accounting and accounting system technologies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in public accounting preferred
- ERP or similar technology experience preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in travel, insurance, or membership organization preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of accounting procedures, including financial statements and taxes
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management
- Experienced in using and supporting accounting systems, ERP platforms, and financial applications
- Ability to address multiple demands and competing priorities in a changing environment
- Skilled in excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage deadlines
Salary
Pay range: $88,026-$101,286
