Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field required.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of related experience in general or municipal accounting.
• Fixed Asset Portfolio: Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing a fixed asset portfolio containing at least 1,000 fixed assets, preferred.
• Journal Entries: Minimum of two (2) years of experience preparing journal entries, preferred.
• Financial Software: Proficient with financial systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Licenses and Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification required within one (1) year of hire.

• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial and governmental accounting, including fixed assets, grants, reconciliations, and reporting.
