Senior Account Sales Representative
About the role
At Spectrum, you will sell Spectrum products and services to individuals living in multi-dwelling units (MDU) properties with 50+ doors. You will spend your days selling through door-to-door solicitation, lobby events, and building strong relationships with property managers.
Responsibilities
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Maintain a well-informed knowledge base of competitors activities throughout assigned territory; inform manager of any changing competitive pricing programs or marketing directions
- Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and training programs
- Generate incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new/additional services
- Respond to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy; follow through to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved
- Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines, including dispositions, sales orders and sales reporting
- Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to Company policies and guidelines
Requirements
- One year of experience in sales or customer service
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of cold call sales skills, persuasion, and clear communication skills
- Ability to travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle
- Familiarity with computer operating systems, a myriad of consumer and commercial communications devices, and computer software applications
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Skills
Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals; knowledge of cable or telecommunications services; experience with consumer education of products and services; success in a previous sales position, prospecting or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred, but not required.

Pay
The base pay for this position generally is between $27,600.00 and $45,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
Schedule
Flexible schedule to accommodate evenings and weekends, with variable hours including weekends, holidays, and split days off.
