Senior Account Manager, Syndicated Healthcare, Oncology
About the role
As a Senior Account Manager at Ipsos, you will provide strategic insight to clients in the delivery of research services. You are conversant in quantitative research design, interpretation, and analysis of results, and have an exceptional ability to build and maintain client relationships. You are comfortable working with large data sets and have a passion for finding answers through monitoring, analyzing, and understanding results to determine trends.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage and coordinate all aspects of the research process, from proposal writing and research design to analysis, interpretation of results, preparation of reports, and delivery of presentations.
- Manage key operational partners (data collection, data processing, and results reporting) to ensure reliable results are delivered to clients in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
- Maintain project budgets and work with the team to ensure all aspects of the study operate smoothly.
- Foster strong client relationships with oversight from the VP, through frequent client contact, including travel to client sites, leading meetings/presentations, and delivering insightful, thoughtful research.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to junior staff.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of direct market research experience (supplier-side experience an asset).
- Proven experience building and managing successful client relationships.
- Knowledge of the health and pharmaceutical industry is desired.
- Knowledge of Oncology is a plus.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted project budgets and create, manage, and commit to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Data-savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Sound understanding of research principles, designs, and methodologies.
- Resourceful, pragmatic, and flexible but always standards-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems; SPSS or similar is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Travel is mandatory and will range up to 5%.
Pay
In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education, and/or certifications.
