Senior Account Manager - Middle Market Employee Health & Benefits: Self-Funding Expert

Responsibilities

• Create and implement customized service plans for clients
• Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, negotiate coverage, and manage proposals and renewals
• Engage in strategic planning for clients, understanding the full scope of their business

Requirements

• 5+ years previous insurance experience in applicable insurance products/lines, various funding mechanisms and Employee Benefit techniques
• Negotiate contracts, lead renewal meetings, and present at open enrollment meetings
• Be a self-starter; a highly organized problem solver with good time management skills to meet deadlines
• Create detailed analyses and presentations for prospect or client meetings
• Review the accuracy of others' work on a project or task
• Have strong proficiency with Excel Spreadsheets, Word Documents, PowerPoint and navigate in Agency Management Systems
• Have strong financial acumen and ability to interpret complex self-funded policies
• Guide others on a fast-paced, high-energy team while maintaining a positive attitude

Qualifications

• Life & Health license preferred, or the ability to obtain upon hire
• BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field
• GBA, CEBS, VBS or other professional insurance designation related to Benefits
• Experience working with Applied Epic, agency management system
• Available to travel for client meetings, as needed

Pay and Schedule

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,400 to $172,100. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
