Senior Account Executive, Sports & Entertainment Partnerships - Brand Consulting
About the role
The Brand Consulting Senior Account Executive will play a key role in one of our largest Brand Consulting clients, a healthcare company. The Sr. Account Executive will support in the day-to-day management and activation of marquee sports and entertainment properties in the brand’s portfolio. The candidate will interface day-to-day with the client and will work cross functionally with internal/external vendors, partners, and agencies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as day-to-day account team support while establishing strong professional relationships with key personnel across assigned accounts and properties
- Work with cross-functional teams and external partners on all aspects of project management to ensure client expectations are met
- Support overall planning of campaigns, events and activations, working with internal account team, client team and external agencies
- Maintain project trackers including timelines, ensuring team deliverables on submitted on schedule
- Aid in development & manage day to day execution of property-specific programs, contractual assets, promotions & experiential activations
- Lead strategic planning and execution of experiential/event activations and community programming around marquee partnership tentpoles/programming in collaboration with experiential production teams
- Aid in development of integrated marketing and sponsorship activation plans, showcasing how digital, social, PR, and other channels come to life
- Assist with recommendation, negotiation and management of talent deals
- Oversee & facilitate the creative development process of marketing materials, experiential assets and event-related creative (includes briefing designers & obtaining internal & client approvals)
- Work with other team functions (e.g. Creative, Experiential, Social Impact, Insights / trends, etc.) to ensure goals and objectives are met
- Create and deliver compelling written and verbal communications
- Create presentations for key meetings internally and externally
- Track activation budgets with accountability for reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2-3 years of experience in sports partnership management
- Background in experiential/event planning
- Best-in-class client servicing and relationship building
- Exceptional project management and prioritization skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to “think on one’s feet” in a fast-paced, agency environment
- Ability to balance and progress multiple projects and project components at one time, on tight timelines
- Solution oriented
- Ability to travel and attend work events outside normal business hours on an as needed basis (holidays, weekends, nights)
Preferred Skills
- Agency experience highly preferred
- Healthcare, community/social impact, or non-profit experience nice to have
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) and general interest in multicultural marketing is a plus
Location
The Brand Consulting department offers a flexible work schedule and requires three days per week on-site at our Los Angeles office. Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate at their own expense, as relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $71,000 - $90,000. This position is also eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
