Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day client communications, ensuring consistent alignment and proactive updates
- Execute strategic public relations campaigns for travel, hospitality and lifestyle clients
- Develop and maintain strong media relationships with food, wine and spirits, including editors, freelancers and influencers/content creators
- Pitch and secure meaningful media coverage across print, digital and broadcast outlets
- Draft and edit press materials including press releases, media pitches, fact sheets and briefing documents with a high level of polish
- Monitor industry trends, news cycle and media opportunities to inform client strategy
- Plan and execute press trips, media events and influencer collaborations
- Track and report on media coverage and campaign performance
- Manage project timelines, budgets and deliverables across multiple accounts simultaneously
- Supervise and mentor Account Coordinators and Account Executives, reviewing their work and supporting their development
Requirements
- 4-6 years of public relations experience within an agency setting
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field
- Experience working with food, wine and spirits or hospitality clients
- Strong media contacts across consumer outlets
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
- Experience managing junior team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, collaborative and solutions-oriented
- Track record in creative ideation

Pay
Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000
