Senior Account Executive - Personal Lines

About the role

HUB International is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to join our Personal Lines team in Berkeley Heights, NJ. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and is responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth personal insurance clients.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an assigned book of high-net worth personal insurance clients with varying size and complexity.
  • Establish and grow substantive relationships with existing and prospective clients to deliver excellent client experience.
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face and virtual meetings with clients for annual reviews.
  • Analyze and evaluate clients' current insurance and provide feedback and suggestions on program improvement.
  • Achieve assigned annual financial metrics focused on retention and revenue growth.
  • Understand carrier underwriting appetite and effectively use rating software to market accounts with various carriers.
  • Prepare and present proposals as needed.
  • Review accurate information on all new prospects/clients by documenting EPIC and updating client information in our agency management system.
  • Engage in cross-sell initiatives into your managed book of business as well as on an individual basis.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3-7 years of experience in related positions.
  • Understanding of the Private Client marketplace and carriers.
  • Property & Casualty Insurance license.
  • Insurance designation preferred (CPRIA, CPCU, ARM, CIC).
  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000, with the actual salary impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
