Senior Account Executive OR Account Supervisor, Lifestyle
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive or Account Supervisor to join our Consumer Lifestyle Team. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in public relations, proven project management skills, and experience in integrated agency settings.
Responsibilities
- Client Leadership
- Actively provide strategic counsel and be strategic day to day voice for the client
- Strive for excellence in client service; provide clear and concise updates that limit client hole-poking
- Build strong relationships that establish trust with PR and brand team clients
- Lead weekly calls with clients
- Earned Media Oversight
- Oversee the team’s earned media outputs across always on and programmatic
- Counsel and guide client on earned outputs and plans for building those KPIs
- Pitch and continue relationship building with earned press
- Hole poke and ensure no stone left unturned in press outreach; guide team towards resourcefulness
- Project Management
- Design clear and efficient workplans for programs and manage all workstreams including earn media specific ones
- Poke holes in team initiatives and ensure work output is the best it can be (of self and team members)
- Juggle multiple workstreams, clients, projects and deadlines
- Review and edit documents, collateral, etc. with minimal supervision; ensure all team work is client-ready before going to the clients
- Lead special events + experiential activations (virtual and in-person)
- Own more complex elements of project management, such as integration/collaboration with partners, vendors, etc.
- Create and track budgets + KPIs
- Team Management
- Direct and manage the work of SAE’s, AE’s AAE’s, AC’s and Interns
- Coach in real-time and provide actionable feedback and guidance to add value to teammate and the work
- Be motivational and inspiring, implementing ideas that help build culture
- Challenger of status quo and a problem solver for the team – helps team find solutions
- Planning
- Provide program development support, including material development (from decks to memos to emails)
- Including but not limited to product launch moments, influencer campaigns, strategic partnerships and more
- Contribute ideas that deliver on briefs and jobs-to-be-done
- Organize teammates and horizontals on planning path forward
- Contribute to brainstorms
- Provide off-the-cuff ideas that aren’t part of planning (relevant, in-the-know nuggets that teams and clients can run with to WIN when it comes to cultural relevance)
Requirements
- Solid foundation in public relations – both traditional media and digital
- Proven ability to lead projects and communications; experience driving events and partnerships
- Skilled in motivating teammates and helping them grow
- In touch with cultural and industry trends
- 3-5 years of experience on the PR agency side for a Senior Account Executive
- 6-7 years of experience on the PR agency side for an Account Supervisor
- Experience managing a team of 2-3 direct reports
- Experience and/or passionate about the lifestyle, food/bev scene

Pay
$66,000/year for SAES
$81,000-100,000 for Account Supervisor (New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.)
Schedule
Remote - Tri-State area (NY, NJ, CT) within easy reach of New York City area to come in for day trips.
Our Flexible Work Policy
We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.
