Senior Account Executive, Enterprise (Commerce/CPG)

About the role
This Senior Account Executive role blends sales activities with customer relationship management. Reporting to the Director of Emerging Verticals & Agencies, you’ll grow existing business and close new programmatic advertising revenue from Enterprise agencies and brands in the CPG/Commerce space. A successful AE must understand the client’s long-term business objectives and seek partnership opportunities to further grow the client’s business with StackAdapt. You’ll collaborate with teams across StackAdapt to build net new relationships, retain existing accounts, present new campaign strategies, and strengthen client relationships. StackAdapt is a remote-first company.
Responsibilities
- Identify, pitch, and close platform sales deals with enterprise agencies and brands.
- Work closely with management and product teams to get products specified and built.
- Manage existing client relations and seek account growth opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new campaign strategies and solutions.
- Build strong client relationships.
Requirements
- Proven track record with 7–10+ years in Enterprise Sales, with a deep focus (5+ years) on programmatic platforms and AdTech solutions.
- Digital advertising sales experience (programmatic is a plus).
- Experience selling into the CPG and Commerce industries, specifically at the Enterprise level.
- Experience using CRM tools to build a robust pipeline and ensure ongoing client satisfaction, renewal, and opportunity discovery.
- Experience building client pitch decks (and associated research) to close new business.
- Track record of success in a quota-carrying environment.
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical concepts and platform-based knowledge.
- Willingness to travel to meet with clients, attend events, and conferences (approximately 25% of your time).
