Senior Account Director Responsibilities Act as the senior client lead, and day-to-day lead on account teamsBring long-term, big picture view to planning and executionEnsure all teammates understand their role for the account and client goalsLead the development of informed and targeted media plans and campaigns - from ideation to executionDrive media results through outreach and creative story ideationProduce and/or edit written contentDrive strategic planning in partnership with clients (i.e. quarterly/ every six months look ahead)Lead agency development projects - new business pitches, company trainings, team events, recruiting, etc.Coach and mentor internal team members, conducting annual performance reviewsMakes recommendations on team staffing to ensure accounts have coverage and complementary skillsWorking with VPs, support scope of work and budget conversations with clients Senior Account Director Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, journalism or similar areaAt least 8 years in-house or agency PR experienceDemonstrated ability to grow accounts and build client relationshipsDemonstrated ability to drive meaningful media resultsStrong presentation and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented and focus on setting and managing to a high barDemonstrates a high degree of ownership and accountability with strong project management and organization skillsA creative mindsetBrilliant writing skills (we’ll want to see samples)Experience or demonstrated expertise in talent developmentExperience or demonstrated ability to manage multiple key stakeholders (clients, partners, customers, other agencies, etc.)Ability to set appropriate client expectations and provide thoughtful analysis on PR outcomes We understand that a job description may not capture all of the skills and experiences that can contribute to success in this role. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, and education or certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications. Salary ranges for this position are between $140,000 and $175,000 annually. Strange Brew Strategies also offers additional compensation programs such as annual cash bonuses and generous benefits.
